FINAL DEADLINE (2) hasn't raced since copping a tough draw in the Victoria Derby in October and was good when runner-up in his Derby heat at Melton prior. Won three in a row at this circuit before heading south and he should be ready to go off a trial win. If he gets the standing start right he can make a winning return. ARKIN WICKED (1) looks close to a win after missing by just a neck last week and should get his chance from the front mark. SEND IT (7) was close up when fourth last week and starts closer in the handicap. QUADDIE VC (3) kicked off for this yard with back-to-back placings before delivering at this circuit and distance last week. Switches to a standing start but was runner-up under those conditions two back. ELLIS STREET (4) galloped out before getting within 2.7m off the when third last week. Exotic chance if he gets the start right.
