PIESRIDINGSHOTGUN (2) worked to find the lead and kept kicking only to find one better last time out over 1 ?m at Melton, a typically honest effort. Likely to get all the favours from this nice draw. Finds a suitable assignment and will take plenty of beating once more. RAKERO WARRIOR (10) resumes from a spell of three-and-a-half months after closing off last campaign in good form, the last run being a solid second over 1 5/16m at Bendigo. Draws out a little on the second line and may need luck at some point. Well-placed to take this out. HOLD THAT MAGIC (11) was responsible for a better effort last time out when runner-up over 1 5/16m at Shepparton. Should run a big race. BLACK AND GOLD (1) disappointed last time when sixth over 1 5/16m at this track. Can do a lot better so worth considering.
