AGENT CALLAN (7) was beaten into fifth over further as a hot favourite last time but did have to work so it may pay to be forgiving. Scored back-to-back wins at this circuit and distance prior so is worth another chance. VERY NEEDY (4) came from this barrier to win at this venue four back and hasn't been too far off the placings since. Comes back in grade on the last two attempts. Major player. GALVARINO (2) only beat a couple home last week at Newcastle but came from the back row to miss by a head when runner-up here prior and draws to advantage. WHISKEY ROYALE (1) was down the track over further last time but did a good job to finish second at this circuit and distance prior and gets the aid of the ace draw.
