MAXI ANGEL (3) has been racing well of late. Finished second at his latest appearance over 1 5/16m at this track, beaten a neck. A nice draw on the front line should ensure a cosy run. Meets a comparable field and he can figure in the finish. SWEET LUCY LOU (4) drew wide last start and was safely held, beaten 30 metres into ninth here over 1 5/16m. Meets a similar quality field and is good enough to take out a race like this. COME ON BILLEE (2) broke last start but still managed to fill a minor placing over 1 ?m at Globe Derby Park, finishing only 3 metres from the winner. That was a pleasing progression after missing the placings the run before. No excuses from this advantageous draw and another big run is on the cards. NO GOOD REASON (1) is worth another chance after a last-start seventh over 1 5/16m at this course three weeks ago. Can bounce back from the coveted pegs draw.
