Perfectly placed and having won seven of his nine career runs is sure to prove tough to beat again. WICKED MOTION (1) was out of the money two runs ago then broke and finished eighth last start over 1 ¹/16m at Riverina Paceway, coming home 20 metres from the winner. A nice draw on the front line should ensure a soft trip. Has place prospects. MAVERICK (6) didn't do a bad job when fourth over 1 ¹/16m at Bathurst last time out after racing in behind the leader at the bell. Include in combinations for value. MAXIMIAN (8) is heading the right way, improving last time out to finish second at Newcastle over 1m after he was held-up in the run home.
