Should get his chance with the aid of the ace draw. SPARKLING SUE (3) did a good job to come from the back row for second last start at this circuit and distance. A much better draw can see her right in the finish. SPEARHEAD (9) ended last prep with a third at Newcastle and won at this circuit and distance in the prior outing. Draws on the back row but was readied with a trial and is capable of a forward showing while fresh. THUNDAMENTAL (7) is in the mix having come from wider on this row for a respectable third at his most recent appearance at this circuit and distance.
