ROYAL SAXON (8) worked to get to the lead and kept finding to score last time out over 1 5/16m at this track, the second win from his past four runs. Drawn to enjoy a cosy run but might need things to go his way at some stage. Meeting a deeper field this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. NEVS DREAM (1) put the writing on the wall two runs ago then improved further last time out when she scored by 3.5 metres over 1 ¹/16m at this track. No excuses from this advantageous draw. Won't find this any harder and she can make it consecutive wins. LITTLE WONDER (4) comes right into contention after scoring last start by a neck at Riverina Paceway over 1 ¹/16m. MIDNIGHT PIRATE (6) is in the mix after turning in a better effort last start to finish second at this track over 1 ¹/16m.
