SPELL CHECK (5) made good progress second-up when she led and and stuck on for third here last start, beaten 2.4 metres. Draws a few spots wider but should strip fitter again so has scope for further improvement. TRUTHBETOLD (10) registered a strong performance last start when she came from this barrier and battled on bravely for a 1.3m second at this venue. If things go her way she could go one better. NEED SOME AIR (4) will be fitter and is open to improvement after clocking in fourth when resuming here three weeks ago. MERRYWOOD LOU (6) faded out last start at Newcastle but missed by just a nose here prior so is better placed.
