Verdict

TARANTULA TOM (6) made a nice return at his latest appearance a week ago, finishing 7 metres away in third at this circuit and distance. Draws wide but with added fitness on his side can progress enough to win. LOUMINATE (1) is a daughter of Sweet Lou on debut for the Trent Dawson stable. Has been solid at the trials and should enjoy an economical run from this draw. Makes plenty of appeal. SAINT MAHARG (5) finished third at this venue and distance last week at his first racetrack appearance. Strips fitter and can make his presence felt. IDEAL PURSUIT (3) is worth some thought after her last-start fourth when resuming from this barrier last week.
