AU2 - Swan Hill - Race 1

OWEN THE SAINTS (7) started a hot favourite but broke and finished midfield last start at Wagga, beaten less than 6m. Came from the back row to score at Bendigo prior so has strong claims with manners. SERENE ROCK (8) drew wide once again last start and performed well, beaten only 3.5 metres into fifth at Bendigo. Will enjoy a pretty soft run from this draw and the sprint lane is in play. Primary contender. ALTA BAYAMO (4) draws better than last start and had put together a string of top-two finishes prior so is worth another chance OUR CHEEKY DEVIL (6) has been solid of late and won the only time he attempted this circuit and distance.
