HIGH TEMPO (1) worked to get to the lead and kept trying only to find a couple better on debut last start over 1 m at Maryborough, beaten just 13 metres when well supported. Likely to get all the favours from this nice draw. Has the talent to make his presence felt. CARAPAZ (9) had been racing in great heart then added to the list last start when he finished second over 1 ¼m at Ouyen, beaten 2.5 metres to make it five minor placings from his past six starts. His last-start form is good enough to take out a race like this. BOBBYS ROOM (8) produced a good effort on debut as the favourite last start, finishing third over 1 m at this track after having raced three-wide early. Has plenty of scope for improvement. THATS KEVIN (6) showed pleasing improvement last time out when third over 1 5/16m at this track when sent out at long odds. Worth including in exotic bets.
