Verdict

DEPASSANT (6) recorded a third successive placing when 3.2 metres from the winner in second from a similar draw at Goulburn last week. Should be at peak fitness now and the hoof is on the till. Leading hope. NEED ME SOME SUGAR (1) has been racing at Menangle of late and has been coming from wider barriers but was runner-up the last time she started on the pegs last month. She can take advantage of that draw. SIYA (2) will be fitter for a couple of starts off a spell and draws well so could show more. SASSY MIA (3) was midfield from the back row when resuming. Fitter and should not have any excuses from a more favourable draw.
