NEXT TO ME (1) was down the track last week at Newcastle but had been racing well with a string of wins or placings prior, all from wider barriers. Should get his chance from the ace draw. CORAL CAYS (8) has come from this barrier to win twice within her last four starts here, digging deep to get home by a head last time. Must respect again. ANTETOKOUNMPO (4) was racing well before the last attempt at Menangle and won here earlier in the campaign so can bounce back.
