SAN JUAN MOUNTAIN (4) has the hoof on the till after three placings in succession at this venue, the latest effort a third from this barrier over this distance. Eases back in grade so this could be his chance to break through. TITAN STRIDE (7) is a newcomer to the Rickie Alchin yard from Victoria. Back from a spell of five months but looks to be right up to the mark following two nice trials here. Tactics will be crucial from this draw but expecting a bright start in Sydney. ALDEBARAN SUSANNE (10) resumes after 10 weeks and draws the outside barrier but should be ready to go off a trial win. ALPHA STRIDE (6) has been freshened since he raced parked and faded last start. Won two of his previous three outings here so is worth another chance.
