Verdict

PARISIAN HUSTLER (7) has been freshened since bombing the start in the Breeders Classic Final but has trialled nicely twice since. Recorded two wins and a two placings from his other four starts, highlighted by his Garrards 2YO Classic win. He is good enough to overcome a wide draw and win. ROCKY HUNTER (1) will find this easier than his fresh attempt in the Paleface Adios. Has trialled since and is well served by the ace draw. DOUBLEFAULT (3) started a hot favourite on debut but missed the placings. Has won a trial since so could be a big improver. MAYWYN SON OF LOU (2) has trialled strongly twice since last seen in a Breeders Classic heat and draws well. CATTLECALL (4) is another back from a let-up but was solid when a 5m fourth in a Breeders Classic heat last start.

Parisian Hustler silk

Last start was well beaten into ninth behind Savage Seas at this track over 1 m in a 2yo G3 CG on May 30 at $10. Performed better the start before with a good run despite hanging in on scoring up, when 3rd (Fr7) over 1 m at this track, beaten a head by Yippee Kiyay (1:58.10) in 2yo CG on May 19 at $6.50. Talented gelding who draws wide but is well up to winning this.

Rocky Hunter silk

Didn't impress first-up at this course and distance beaten 30 m fifth behind Jacwill Kid in a G3 on July 4. Fitter with that run under the belt and draws to advantage.

Two-year-old colt facing the starter for the second time. At debut 4th (Fr4) over 1 m at this track, beaten 7 m by Hes A Dancer (1:57.40) in 2yo on June 30 at $1.65. Better for the experience and from a low draw may kick on.
