ITZFERGIETIME (5) came from a big ¼f handicap last start but should enjoy both a return to a mobile start and the drop to this distance having placed in a higher-graded race over this journey here two back. This looks a suitable assignment. SAN JUAN MOUNTAIN (8) hasn't been far off the placings of late and produced another sound performance last time when he race three wide without cover but battled on well. Interesting to see what unfolds from this wide draw but if things go his way he could grab a win. EWING (1) should enjoy the favours from the ace draw and was runner-up at this circuit and distance the last time he started behind a mobile. LAST CLANSMAN (4) has been close to the placegetters at his last couple. Respect.
