GIDGETT KAY (6) was kept out of the early speed battle off the wide starting position on the front line last start and failed to run on when ninth over 1 ?m at Melton. Meets an easier field and she can figure in the finish. DAYLIGHT (1) gave her opponents no chance last start when she cruised to a 16 metres victory over 1 ¹/16m at this track. A nice draw on the front line should ensure a cosy run. Taking on a better field but she is good enough to cope. SNEAKY PHILTRA (8) deserves consideration after her last-start fourth when resuming over 1 ¹/16m here a week ago. Strips fitter now. ONLY ONCE BITTEN (4) is in the mix if she can recapture the form from two starts back that saw her finish second over 1 5/16m at this circuit. Top-three aspirations.
