SITTING ON EIGHT (4) is racing well and has the hoof on the till after placing in his last three starts at this circuit and distance. Turned in yet another strong performance last time when he led from wider and battled on for third. Deserves a win and could achieve it from this lower draw. QUICK SHAVE (2) is a lightly raced newcomer to the Chantal Turpin yard from NZ. Has had three-and-a-half months since a fourth at Central Southland at just his second start but looks to be right up to the mark following a recent trial win. Draws well so could make an immediate impact. DUKE OF ARGYLL (1) is heading the right way, improving last time out to finish second from a wider barrier at this circuit and distance. Genuine threat from the ace draw. CALL IT BLING (6) returns from a spell of four-and-a-half months but strikes at 50 per cent here and was readied with two trials.
