AU2 - Hamilton - Race 1

HUXHAM CHUBB (7) has been racing very well and deserved her success last time out, scoring as the odds-on favourite by 1.3 metres over 1 m at Terang after taking full advantage of the pole position. Will need a bit of luck negotiating a very wide starting position. It doesn't get any easier but she is capable of making it consecutive wins. QUICK DECISION (1) is in the mix following a respectable third at her most recent appearance over 1 m at Terang after racing in behind the leader at the bell. SHIRALEE (3) is worth some thought based on her third over 5 ¾f at Cranbourne two runs ago. OPTIMAL (6) finished second as the favourite over 1m at Charlton last start when sent out as the loose favourite. Can fall into a place.
