FEELGOOD RAY (1) had been racing consistently before he led from wider and scored a decisive win last time out at this circuit and distance, getting home by 12 metres in an emphatic display. Has the gate speed to take advantage of the ace draw so could strike again. ROCK THE NATION (2) made a strong return when he led and fought well to be edged out by a nose at Bathurst last week. Fitter and draws well again so could go one better. WARIEDA BOY (7) is looming as a threat after a good effort for third from a similar barrier at Bathurst last start and a win at this circuit and distance last month. BOLANALONG (3) drew on the back row and worked last start but was a solid fourth from this barrier prior.
