LORD VERDE (2) was responsible for a good effort at his latest run to get home by a narrow margin over 1m at Charlton on February 2. A nice draw on the front line should ensure a cosy run. Stepping up a level this time but he is capable of making his presence felt. YANKEE MOJOH (4) finished second at Mt Gambier two runs ago before finishing third at her latest appearance over 1 ¹/16m at Mt Gambier, beaten 19 metres. Meets a comparable field and she can figure in the finish. EASTBRO MIKA (5) is a great chance after a string of sound recent performances, the latest a solid third at Terang over 1 5/16m. Hard to find fault. VILLAGE VOICE (1) disappointed last time when eighth over 1 ¹/16m at Mt Gambier. Can do a lot better so worth considering.
