WHERE IT BEGAN (4) made an encouraging return after more than six months when only 2 metres away in third at Shepparton. Should be fitter for that so is a big chance to go one better in what looks a suitable assignment. OUR ULTIMATE JANE (10) has had two runs at Menangle so far this prep, the best result a resuming fourth. Has switched yards since and was readied with a trial win. Draws out a little on the second line so may need luck at some point but is better placed. THE KID BILLY (6) was out of the money as a hot favourite last start but had recorded a series of solid effort \s when not far off the placings prior so is worth another chance. BETTER THEN DAICOS (2) is a three-year-old gelding by Major In Art on debut. Has the benefit of a good draw and placed in a recent trial. Could be ready to run a big race.
