Manners are proving a problem for NORTHERN HEIGHTS (7) as he has galloped in his last four outings but the prior form was strong, kicking off his campaign with a win and two placings here. Switches back to a standing start and won under those conditions back in November. Good enough to win if he gets it right so allowing him more one chance. FLASH KYVALLEY (6) drew on the back row and chased along the sprint lane for third a week ago. Expect he'll enjoy getting back to a standing start having come from this mark for an easy win at this circuit and distance last month. SON OF A SUN (8) produced a good effort last time at this circuit and distance, finishing second and just 1.6 metres from the winner. Gives away ?f at the handicap but can perform well again. VOLTAIN (2) is another that should enjoy the return to a standing start having come from this mark when runner-up two back.
