Registered yet another strong performance last start when he battled on bravely to finish third over 1 m at Bendigo, adding to his reputation as a genuine performer. A nice draw on the front line should ensure a cosy run. Has the talent to take this out. THEMIDNIGHTEXPRESS (7) comes here following a Group One seventh six-and-a-half weeks ago over 1 ¹/16m at Bathurst, beaten 19 metres by Jacwill Kid. A big performance is on the cards. LA CANTATRICE (4) is a great chance after a string of sound recent performances, the latest a solid second at Melton over 1 ¹/16m. Hard to find fault. STAUNTON (6) is a two-year-old colt from the Emma Stewart stable on debut. Showed some ability when a minor placegetter in a recent trial. Will be right there at the business end.
