OUR CHEEKY DEVIL (5) could only manage to finish fifth at his latest appearance over 1 ¼m at Gawler, failing to live up to market expectations. Form prior to that was a better guide to his ability, including a win over 1 ?m at this track two starts ago. Steps up a level but he is up to the task. LINXX (8) scored his second win from the past five appearances last start when he found the lead and did well to go on and score by 1.75 metres at this track over 1 ?m. Can travel in a nice spot from this draw and wait on the sprint lane if necessary. This doesn't look as hard so he is set to continue his fine form. ZANY GIRL (9) must be considered after she finished runner-up over 1m at Port Pirie six days ago when sent out as the favourite. UPRIGHT (3) disappointed last time but is a chance based on a good win over 1 ¼m at Port Pirie two runs back.
