BANKSY (4) turned in a good effort at his latest appearance to get home by a narrow margin over 1 ¹/16m at Goulburn on September 16. That latest effort is good enough to take out a race like this. GIMME A REASON (2) settled in front and kept going to record a commanding 12 metres win last start over 1 ¹/16m at Penrith, following on from a strong third the run prior at Penrith. Has the benefit of a good draw. Won't find this any harder and he can make it two on the trot. MR TEDDY (7) is right in contention after finishing in the placings for the second time in a row last start, beaten 5.5 metres into third at Bathurst. No reason he cannot take this out. HAS THE COURAGE (10) is worth some thought despite his last-start tenth over 1 7/16m at this track on November 8.
