VINCE LOMBARDI (4) has had seven weeks off since placing as favourite in his last two outings at this circuit and distance, last time coming from the back row to be beaten 2m. The return to the front row could see him find the winners' list. FIANO (9) made a winning start for the new yard when she came from this barrier to get the prize here two-and-a-half weeks ago. Tackles a similar assignment and could make it two on the trot. LOYOLA SPIAGGIA (6) was a Swan Hill winner four back and looks close to another success after he came from the back for third here last time. CLARENDEN CRUISER (8) resumes after four-and-a-half months but is two from two when fresh so must be respected.
