Hard to knock the recent consistency of DONNIE MAC (1) having recorded two wins and three minor placings from the past five starts. Raced three wide without cover but toughed out a win two back at this circuit and distance then led from wider and stuck on in a last-start third at Menangle so has the speed to take full advantage of the ace draw. SNAKE OIL (3) came from a wide barrier when he scored at this circuit and distance three runs ago. Solid last time out when second at Leeton. Has the benefit of a good draw so is a leading hope. GO COLOUR MY WORLD (7) led from a similar draw when he scored by more than 6m last start at this circuit and distance. Can play a big role again. JANIE BLU (8) came from a similar barrier to score last week, her second success in her last three outings here.
