SCHEMING (1) scored here three runs ago and was good again in the latest outing when fourth at Shepparton, beaten 1.5 metres. Owns a decent strike rate at this circuit and distance and should have no excuses from the ace draw. AMERICAN HAMMER (4) was out of the money but not distanced when beaten 8 metres last start at Penrith. Owns a good record at this distance and can measure up with his best. TIZZY LIZZIE (5) drew wider than this last start and faded after working but recorded a series of top-three finishes prior, including a win at this circuit and distance. Worth another chance. CARBINEER (2) has been solid of late and draws to be competitive.
