Verdict

STARTIN TO GOGH (5) was last seen in the Vicbred Super Series at Melton in November but has put together a string of wins or placings in NSW prior. Has performed well when fresh before and should be ready to go off a couple of trials. JETTER SON (9) led as favourite last week but couldn't see it out and clocked in fifth. Came from this barrier for third in a higher-graded race than this here two back so is up to winning with his A-game. The outside barrier poses a new challenge for MYTH YOU ALREADY (10) but his form is hard to knock having recorded two wins and a placing from his last three attempts at this circuit and distance. BETTORLIGHTEM UP (6) will be fitter for his last-start fourth when resuming at Newcastle and he draws a little lower.
