Victorian visitor BROWNIESATMIDNIGHT (2) had no luck last start but had been producing some decent form prior including a win four back at Melton. Has been coming from wider or second line draws of late so looks well served by this barrier. SILVER PISTOL (7) had to go back from the outside barrier and couldn't get into the action when resuming but he draws lower and should be improved. Well performed when trained in Victoria previously so can measure up with his A-game. JALANEEL (1) led from this draw and stuck on well for second at this circuit and distance three back. Comes back in grade on the last attempt so could give a sight. ULTIMATE BIRD (6) hasn't been far from the placings from this draw in two starts since a spell. Has a decent record at this circuit and distance and should be approaching peak fitness.
