WHITEHAVEN BEACH (2) settled close to the pace but didn't find enough in the end and could only manage fifth last start over 1 ¹/16m at this track, that effort coming after a win here the run before. Sure to enjoy an economical run from this draw. Tackles a similar assignment and he can bounce back straight away. RED HOT MIKI (7) raced in a handy position last time out and was runner-up, beaten 1.4 metres, in a nice return to form at this circuit over 1 5/16m. Should enjoy a nice smother from this draw and will be looking for a split at some stage. Meets a similar line up so he can add to the sound recent effort. THE AFRICAN QUEEN (3) is heading the right way, improving last time out to finish third at this venue over 1 5/16m. Genuine threat. JILPANGER ROSE (10) is worth some thought based on her victory over 1 5/16m at this course two runs ago.
