Verdict

Manners let RICK REILLY (5) down when he was in the market at Menangle last start but he had been producing some solid efforts prior including a third in a higher-graded race the only time he raced here. He is up to winning this with his A-game. MR TEDDY (10) looks close to a win having come from a wide barrier for second at his latest appearance at Menangle, beaten 2.2 metres. With a little luck from the back row he could go one better. OBADIAH DRAGON (3) is another with the hoof on the till after two successive placings at Newcastle, both from wider barriers than this. DOUBLE IT HARRY (6) placed here two back and was a solid fifth after working at his most recent appearance at Menangle. Respect.
