TINNY MAHONEY (1) was a beaten favourite last week at Newcastle but still performed well when 4m off the winner. Had recorded a string of top-three results prior, leading from this barrier to cruise home by two back at this circuit and distance. Hard to stop with a repeat of that performance. MISTER BRILLANTE (9) was a touch disappointing at his latest appearance but had put together a string of top-two finishes over this distance at Newcastle prior. Could threaten if things go his way from the back row. AGIFTFROMTHEANGELS (5) steps up in grade but is hard to knock after winning his last four outings, two of them at this circuit and distance and the latest from the back line at Newcastle. FOUR FEATHERS (2) found winning form last week and should be competitive again from a favourable draw.
