LOCHINVAR RULER (6) finished second two runs back then overcame adversity to finish second despite breaking last start over 1 ?m at this track. Facing a tougher assignment but he is up to the challenge. MANDS PEARL (1) finished runner-up at her most recent outing, beaten a nose, in a nice return to form at this track over 1 ?m. Likely to get all the favours from this nice draw. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she good enough to play a major role. UPRIGHT (2) disappointed last time when tenth over 1 m at Shepparton. Can make amends. KEILAH (9) is next in line but might need a few good breaks from an awkward draw.
