Verdict

MEMPHIS FURY (1) has been racing well from tougher barriers on country tracks, putting two wins together before drawing wide but working home to place last start at Bathurst. The ace draw could see him him take this step up to city company. RIO DE JANEIRO BLUE (3) has been coming from much wider barriers and producing some decent efforts including a couple of placings here last month. Had enough speed to lead from the extreme outside barrier last time so can take advantage of this better draw. BIRDY GAL (6) was a winner at this circuit and distance last month and could be close to another success having worked from one spot wider than this but stuck on to place last week. EXPLOSIVE BRONSKI (10) cops the outside barrier but should be respected after finding winning form here last week.
