Verdict

ATTACHMENT (6) resumes from a spell of five months after showing some very good form last campaign, winning three of his last four starts at this venue including the G2 QBred Triad 4EG Final over this distance. Three from three when fresh so expect he'll be ready to fire first up again off a trial placing. GEM PUNTER PETE (2) did some work but stuck on okay for fourth at his most recent appearance. Led to win here prior and also scored the last time he attempted a standing start. DASHING (7) is a newcomer to the Shawn Grimsey yard from NSW where he was last seen in finishing second to a smart one at Wagga. Won his lone try at this distance and easily won his latest trial here so could measure up. AMAMI (5) came from this mark and boxed on after racing parked to finish runner-up at this circuit and distance last time out. Respect.

Two back was well beaten into sixth behind Catchafire at Leeton over 1/16m in a NR up to 100 on January 1 at $4.60. Then a handy effort when beaten by 2.25 m finishing second after showing early speed, behind Nyack at Riverina Paceway over 1 ¹/16m in a No NR on January 16 at $12. Easy trial winner here and could measure right up for the new yard.
