MISTER AMERICANO (8) is looking to improve on his last-start fourth behind Brooklyn Dan at Listed level over 1 ¹/16m at Melton nine days ago. Class act who will be hard to beat. SPOOK CROCKER (7) had to call on all reserves to salute last time out over 1 ¹/16m at Mt Gambier, getting home by just a head after racing three-wide early and then racing outside the leader at the bell. Has to contend with a very wide draw and steps up a level but he is good enough to cope. WE FAVOUR ROSIE (4) is worth plenty of thought off a last-start win by 6 metres at Mt Gambier over 1 ¹/16m when leading all of the way as the $1.65 favourite. CAPTAIN WILSON (2) is the best of the rest after finishing fifth over 1 ¹/16m at Stawell last time out. Include in combinations.
