Former Kiwi SHANKYS SHOT (6) made an encouraging debut in Queensland when he came from this barrier for third over 1 m at this venue. Fitter so has winning claims. FITZROY (5) only beat a couple home last week but was going well prior having kicked off his campaign with a win and two placings. Can bounce back. JAMES ALFRED (3) has been thereabouts of late and was solid again when fourth last week. Had recorded a win and two placings from his pervious three starts. Draws for a good showing. ETERNAL BLISS (2) missed by just a nose last start and won twice in a row prior. Draws well so respect.
