AU2 - Redcliffe - Race 8

JEFFCOATE (1) was racing well with a string of placings before a well-deserved win at the latest appearance by 1.1 metres over 1 m at Albion Park. Worked to the front from a wider barrier there so could take advantage of the inside draw to strike again. MERRY JEWEL (8) worked to the front form a wide draw and boxed on for fourth last start. Won two in a row at this circuit and distance prior, one of them from this barrier. Big chance. WESTERN BILL (4) scored back-to-back wins at Albion Park last month and looks close to another success after coming from wider barriers than this for second in the latest two outings. OUR LUCY LOU (7) was last seen at Group One level eight months ago but has won two of three attempts here. Looking for a bright return.
