Verdict

An early break proved costly for PLATINUMS BOY (1) last start but he was placed here prior when he raced wide from the back row. Also came from the second line for back-to-back Canberra wins last month. Gets the ace draw and can win with manners. TEARIN UP THE SAND (2) drew deep and raced three wide without cover last start so forgave that. Had produced some solid efforts prior and can do much better from this more favourable draw. OUR ULTIMATE BONNY (5) brings good form into this contest with two wins and a placing from her last three outings at Canberra and she is proven at this circuit and distance. MICTON MOUSE (4) worked when parked last time at Canberra but toughed it out for a nice win. Could go on with it.
