REDS STAR DEAL (2) has been competitive of late and kept the ball rolling last time when a neck from the winner in second over 1 m at Albion Park. Sure to enjoy an economical run from this draw. Meets a similar line up and he can take this out. MISS FROUFROU (1) had a favourable gate and was too good at this track two runs ago. Drew a wide gate last start and was easily accounted for, beaten 21 metres into fifth here over 1 ¹/16m. Will enjoy a nice run from this favourable starting position and has the ability to take this out. PLATINUM JEWEL (8) is better than her last-start seventh over 1 ?m at this circuit. Worth another chance. REASON TO SHINE (5) could only manage eighth when resuming over 1 ?m at this course last start. Can do a lot better so worth considering for the exotics.
