IMA BOXA (8) is a lightly-raced but progressive gelding who has had two months off but was kept up to the mark with a trial win here. Took his record to four from five by winning at Goulburn when last seen, putting 11 metres on his nearest rival. Interesting to see what unfolds from the wide draw but has the Hart/Grimson combination behind him. BALTUSROL (7) has returned in good order, winning at this circuit and distance first up before leading from this barrier for a 3.6m second last week. Proven third-up. Major player. DUTY OF CARE (6) has to come into calculations after placing in his last three outings at this circuit and distance. This looks a suitable assignment for AMERICAN HAMMER (5) who missed by just a nose the last time he raced here.
