VILLAGE VOICE (5) turned in a much better run last start, finishing third over 1 5/16m at Stawell after having raced in behind the leader at the bell. Steps up a level but she is up to the task. TUKURUA (7) was in the money at Mt Gambier two runs ago before having her colours lowered at her latest appearance over 1 m at Terang, beaten 13 metres. Will need a bit of luck negotiating a very wide starting position. Tackles a similar assignment and she can finish a lot closer this time. CALEDONIAN TERRA (4) is the next elect off a last-start win by 2 metres at Mt Gambier over 1 ¹/16m. CASE FORTY EIGHT (9) should be at his peak at the fifth run back from a spell, the latest outing a second at Mt Gambier six days ago.
