MASTER COMBATANT (3) is worth plenty of thought off a last-start win by a head at Port Pirie over 1 ¼m. VINAIGRETTE (6) missed the placings two runs back then did a great job to finish 9 metres back in third despite breaking in the run over 1 ?m at this track a week ago. Only needs to get things right to be in the money again.
