AU2 - Riverina Paceway - Race 2

IM EL ARQUERO (8) has not raced for three-and-a-half months. Looks forward enough for this return after a minor placing in a recent trial. Interesting to see what unfolds from this wide draw. Likely to run a big race to kick off this campaign. AVA LEANNE (7) was in the money at Leeton two runs ago before having her colours lowered at her latest appearance over 1 ¹/16m at this track, beaten 15 metres. Will need a bit of luck negotiating a very wide starting position. Won't find this any harder and she can bounce back straight away. ELLAVA PACER (1) is heading the right way, improving last time out to finish second at Albury over 1 ¹/16m. Genuine threat. GLENBURNS WATERS (3) is the best of the rest after finishing third over 1 ¹/16m at Albury last time out.
