REWATCH (2) came from this barrier to win a consolation of the Gold Chalice at Bathurst last start. Has won here before and loves this distance with three wins and a two placings from six attempts. Should get his chance again from the good draw. An early break proved costly for FRANCO NICKELBACK (8) who suffered his first defeat last start but he showed good ability in winning his first three outings, two of them at this circuit and distance. Cops a wide draw but he is a talent. LE BETTY (3) will find this easier than recent attempts in the Riverina Championships and had gone into the series off a win from a wider barrier at this venue. NEEDBEE (7) draws wide but did a good job for a close second from the back row here last time.
