RAY DAN (1) is racing well with eight top-five finishes in succession, the latest effort a second at this track over 1 ?m. Has the benefit of a good draw. Meets a comparable field so he is capable of continuing his fine form. SABINE (5) was successful at her most recent outing by 3 metres at this track over 1 m after an encouraging minor placing the start before. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she has the ability to mix it with them. GLENLEDI ELVIS (8) did a good job to finish in the minor placings two runs back then things went sour last time when he broke and finished a long way back in tenth over 1 ?m at this track. Won't spend a penny from this draw but luck may play a role on the bell lap. Only needs to get things right to be in the money. VANQUISH STRIDE (6) cannot be left out after solid recent performances, the latest a sound fifth at this track over 1 ?m.
