CARRAMAR OLAM (3) kicked off his campaign with a win at Newcastle two runs back and again performed admirably last time out, drawing on the back row and making up plenty of ground at this circuit and distance. A nice draw on the front line can see him back in the winners' list. The recent form of HEZA DOOZIE (2) may not leap off the page but he has been coming from wider of second row draws. Owns a decent record at this circuit and distance and a good draw can see him back to his best. CAPTAIN GROOVE (1) is well served by the ace draw having come from the back row to place the last two times he raced here. ALLSOPP (5) is up in grade but is back in form having come from a similar draw for a last-start win by 3 metres at this venue.
