SILVER PISTOL (8) draws wider than he did last start but showed some improvement in that hitout despite being a beaten favourite. Has won third-up before so may be ready to produce his best. ACTION MAJOR (7) is a newcomer to the Kerryann Morris yard from NZ. Only beaten 4.3m into fifth when last seen at Addington six months ago and should be ready to go off three trials. ROMANEE (6) did a good job to place from a wider barrier last week. Respect.
