MONOPOLLIE (4) finished fourth last start over 1 m at this track but gave a good account, beaten only 2 metres. This should be an easier assignment so he is in the right race to get the job done. PLANET DOWNS (1) was in the money two runs ago then found the frame again last time over 1 5/16m at this track, finishing 6 metres from the winner in third. A nice draw on the front line should ensure a cosy run. This should be an easier assignment so he is a major player. MY SCIMITAR (10) is next in line and although he has to contend with an awkward gate a win is not out of the question. GIDUP CAPTAIN (8) is worth some thought after his last-start fifth over 1 ¼m at Redcliffe on August 21.
