TIGERMAC (8) is building into his campaign and looks close to a win after back-to-back placings here. Recorded a strong performance last start when he led and battled on bravely for a 3m second over this distance. May need luck extracting from the inside of the second row but he is a leading hope. RACING PAULA (9) was held up when tackling stronger company at Newcastle last start but did a good job to resume with a minor placing at this circuit and distance at the previous appearance so is better placed. AMILLION PROMISES (2) has been solid in finishing midfield from tougher barriers at his last couple. He is on the radar from a good draw. CHEDDAR VALLEY (5) should find this easier than his last attempt at Menangle and had been racing consistently prior.
