CHARLIE WALKER (2) turned in a much better run at his latest appearance when he scored by 6 metres over 1 ¹/16m at Ballarat. Has the benefit of a good draw. Must raise the bar but another big run is on the cards. MAORI TATTOO (8) progressed nicely last start at his second run of the prep when he finished 5 metres away in second despite breaking in the run over 1 5/16m at Shepparton. Can travel in a nice spot from this draw and wait on the sprint lane if necessary. Big chance again in a similar assignment. CHINSKI (4) last appeared when seventh over 1 5/16m at this track 11 months ago. Expect a better effort to kick off this prep. KYVALLEY MISTY (11) is the best of the rest after finishing third over 1 5/16m at Terang last time out.
