CHARGE AHEAD (6) is back from a spell of six months after his form tapered off last campaign but he is well performed having placed in last year's Chariots of Fire in Sydney. Looks to be right up to the mark following a placing in a recent trial. His best form wins this. Manners let MOONSHINER (4) down when back from a let-up last start but he was racing well prior including back-to-back wins here in January so is worth another chance. AMAMI (9) was solid last start when midfield from this row after he worked but stuck on to finish 6.5m away. BARNSTORMER (2) must be considered after he came from this barrier and missed by a head as runner-up at Redcliffe last week.
