Verdict

There was plenty to like about last week's performance of LOVE A BELLE (1) when she kept chasing to finish runner-up to a progressive rival at this circuit and distance. That was just her second start for the Judd yard and the ace draw could see her go one better. KING COREY (3) is up in grade but his form is hard to knock, winning three of his last four outings at this circuit and distance. Led from a couple of spots wider when scoring by 1.5m last week so expect him to go forward again from this draw. He could take the next step. MAJOR ICON (9) draws wide so may need some luck but is racing well, placing in his last three starts here. MISTER JONES (8) is another that cops a wide barrier but he showed improvement when runner-up last week.
