Verdict

FUGITIVE (5) has not raced for three-and-a-half months since finishing down the track the NSW Derby but had some good form prior including a win at this venue in his Australian debut along with a placing at Listed level at Melton. Looks forward enough for the return after a minor placing in a recent trial. Top chance. SHORELINE DREAM (10) is a newcomer to the Seaton Grima yard from SA. Interesting to see what unfolds from this wide draw but he has won two of three fresh attempts so is capable of a strong performance. EYE CAN EAR AMOUR (8) came from this barrier for a well-deserved last-start win at this circuit and distance to follow back-to-back placings. Go well again. OSHLEY (1) drops in grade so can be more competitive with the aid of the inside draw.
