ASHANTE WARRIOR (7) has been competitive of late and kept the ball rolling last time when 7 metres from the winner in fourth over 1 m at Shepparton. Should enjoy a nice smother from this draw and will be looking for a split at some stage. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a major role. BRANSON (2) went back last start then worked home fairly to finish 25 metres from the winner in eighth at Globe Derby Park over 1 ?m, that effort following a good win at Gawler the run prior. Has the benefit of a good draw and can take this out. MASON DIXON LINE (3) is on the radar after his last-start fifth over 1 ¹/16m at Swan Hill a week ago.
