Verdict

HELL IM SMOOTH (6) is back from a let-up but has been kept up to the mark with a trial. Will find this much easier than his last attempt in the Breeders Classic and had won three of his previous four outings here. This looks winnable. KASH TIN (12) starts from the second row again but has been racing well from there, placing in two of his last three starts. Only beaten 2.3m at this circuit and distance last week. Could break through. LENNY LINCOLN (7) performed below market expectations last start but recorded a series of top-four finishes earlier in the campaign so is capable of better. MY ULTIMATE COBBER (5) could be close to a win following back-to-back placings, the latest a second from the back row.
