HELLAVA DEAL (5) did it very tough when racing wide first up at Melton so prepared to forgive that result. She'll be better for the outing so expect big improvement in what looks a suitable assignment. MAJOR ORION (7) kicked off his career with back-to-back seconds then showed plenty of fight to score last start at Melton, getting home by a nose. Interesting to see what unfolds from this wide draw but he has upside. AMERICAN ASSASSIN (6) draws wider but will be fitter and must be considered after he finished third when resuming at Ararat a week-and-a-half ago. MISS DOOBEE (9) has claims off a win from this barrier two starts back at Shepparton.
