ROCKNROLL CLARRY (4) came from a similar barrier to this when finding winning form at the latest appearance, settling back but working home strongly to score by 1.2 metres over this distance at Newcastle. Could strike again. TWO CRACKED CORN (3) has been racing at Newcastle of late but will relish the return to a venue where she has yet to miss a place in five appearances, winning twice. Should enjoy an economical run from this draw so can add to that fine record. AVENGER (8) only managed a midfield finish when favourite from this barrier last start but did win the previous time he raced here so is worth another chance. TINNY MAHONEY (6) may need some luck from this draw but his record at this distance is encouraging,
