Verdict

SNAKE OIL (9) has done most of his racing at Menangle so far, highlighted by an easy maiden win from the outside barrier. Has performed quite well despite drawing deep and working at his last couple in the city. Draws for a trail and and has more upside than most of these. FOXFIRE EASTON (5) scored his first Australian win when too good at Bathurst two starts ago before another good showing for second at his latest appearance at this circuit and distance. Racing well and has strong claims. TUFFASNAILS (2) is lightly raced with upside and there was plenty of merit in his second from a wider barrier here last week. MASTER GOUDA (3) was midfield from the back line last week but came from this barrier for an easy Albury win prior so can bounce back.
