AU1 - Riverina Paceway - Race 1

RISE AGAIN (3) put the writing on the wall when he came from a wider barrier and finished second at his most recent outing, beaten 1.3 metres at this circuit and distance. Has the benefit of a good draw so can go one better. LEAP OF LOGIC (7) was well in the betting but had a tough draw when down the track in a Canola Cup heat last start. Tactics will be crucial from this wide draw but he is well placed back in maiden grade having come from the back row for second on debut here prior. RUSTY MUDSHARK (9) didn't do a bad job when fourth after working last time out and placed here prior. Draws for a nice trail. MUDSLINGER MONTY (5) resumes. Hasn't raced since February but looks ready to put his best foot forward on the back of three recent trials.
