BLACKINDEED (9) might find this easier than the last attempt at Melton when she had to work. Was going well prior, winning two of her previous four appearances at Ballarat. If things go her way from the back row she could return to winning form. SAVON DE ROCHE (11) kicked off her campaign with back-to-back wins before she finished third last start at Swan Hill. Draws on the back row but is race fit and tends to do her best work at this distance. GOOD DAY (6) must be considered after back-to-back placings, coming from a similar barrier when runner-up at Swan Hill last start. Has won here before and could break through. CALEDONIAN RANGER (4) is in the mix after finishing runner-up at Stawell last time out.
