Produced a strong performance last start when he raced up to four wide from this barrier but battled on bravely to just miss out by a head at Kilmore. Can atone with better luck. ALLWATFUNJINGLES (3) should find this easier than the last attempt when midfield at Melton. Draws well so could pose a serious challenge. MACHO MAORI (8) has come from this barrier to place in his last two outings including a third at Bendigo a week ago.
