Hard to knock the recent consistency of LILS NIGHTMARE (6) who added to a string of wins and placings when scoring the latest appearance at this circuit and distance, drawing wider than this and working but proving too strong by 1.5 metres. Up in grade but draws a few spots lower and is going well. GO WITHOUT (7) has joined Seaton Grima since the last outing at Bathurst. Proven here and owns a good record at this distance. His best form would measure right up here. SPIRIT OF ARION (9) may need some luck from a wide barrier but he is heading the right way, improving last time out to finish second after racing deep at this circuit and distance. ULTIMATE EMPIRE (8) worked from the back row when placed last time Penrith. Draws wide but had won three of his previous four outings, one of them here. Respect.
