BARNABY (6) started favourite last start but did some work when racing outside the leader and finished midfield. Had missed by just a nose when resuming from a similar draw to this at this circuit and distance prior. Should be close to peak fitness third up so could show his best. WAHAKA (5) is in a purple patch of form. Came from this barrier to score by more than 8m at this circuit and distance then made it two in a row when successful at his latest appearance over a sprint trip at Tamworth. Big chance to register the hat-trick. AMERICAN WEREWOLF (3) comes off a midfield finish in the G3 Golden Guitar at Tamworth after a second in the heats. Won two in a row prior, one of them here and at this distance, and he draws well. GUEST ARTIST (4) is back from a seven-week let-up but was readied with a trial and came from a similar barrier to win at Newcastle two back so keep safe.
