Verdict

FOXFIRE EASTON (9) started favourite at his Australian debut at this circuit and distance and led before boxing on for a 2.6m second. Draws much wider but should be better for that hitout so could atone. There was merit in the latest performance of FOLLOW THE MONEY (8) when he started from this same barrier and did plenty of work but boxed on for fifth. With a little better luck he can make an impact. WATCH ME REACT (3) has to come into calculations on the back of some strong recent form, coming from a wider barrier for an upset win at this circuit and distance two back before again drawing deeper for a 3m second at Goulburn last week. UNCHAINMYART (1) has joined the Luke McCarthy yard since last seen and gets the ace draw so could make an impact.
