SENSES (1) suffered her first defeat when beaten less than 2m first up here a fortnight ago but she did have to work from a wider barrier and the winner looks promising. Impressed in winning her two starts as a juvenile last season. Fitter and gets the ace draw. Looks tough to stop from there. STELLAR STRIDE (2) drew a wide gate last start and was held up so wasn't disgraced when beaten less than 9m. Much better drawn and came from this barrier when winning three back at Newcastle. FRENCH BUBBLES (3) made a good start for David Aiken when runner-up at this circuit and distance last week. Draws lower so should make an impact again. BETTINE (5) has claims off the resuming win from this barrier two back at this circuit and distance.
