AU1 - Menangle - Race 3

VESPA STRIDE (2) added to a string of top-four finishes at this circuit and distance when he took on stronger company last time out. Had looked close to a win when runner-up in his previous two outings. Draws well so gets this chance to break through. HESAA LISTER (1) raced parked but stuck on for third last start, beaten 4.6 metres in a good performance at Goulburn. Came from a much wider barrier to win at this circuit and distance last month and should get every chance from the ace draw. WHAT FOR (3) should find this easier than the last attempt and was racing well prior, coming from wider barriers than this to record a win and a placing in his previous two outings at this circuit and distance. PARALLEL (8) led in a last-start win by 4.5 metres at Goulburn so could have enough speed to offset the wide draw.
