MATTEO (4) was first up for 17 months and stepping out for Luke McCarthy for the first time when he produced an encouraging effort to place at Penrith. Draws wider but sure to be improved so has winning claims. HE IS GOLD CLASS (2) is a three-year-old son of Bettors Wish making his debut for the Darren Binskin stable. Has placed in two recent trials here and gets the benefit of a good draw so expect a strong showing. CAPITALISM (5) will be fitter for a good return when he drew on the back row and raced up to three wide but stuck on for a 2m third at Goulburn last week. MICKEY BE NIMBLE (6) is in the mix if he can recapture the form from two starts back that saw him come from a wider barrier to score at this circuit and distance.
