Beautifully placed and is sure to play a major role again. VAN DOREN (2) finished fourth at Shepparton two starts back then was competitive again at his latest appearance over 1 5/16m at at the same circuit, beaten only 12 metres into third after being close to the pace throughout. Sure to enjoy an economical run from this draw. This should be an easier assignment so he is in the right race to return to the winners' list. POPPY POPSTAR (9) disappointed last time when seventh over 1 5/16m at Kilmore. Can bounce back. QUEEN TRUSCOTT (7) must be respected after scoring an all of the way victory last start by 1.5 metres at Shepparton over 1 m.
