CARLO GAMBINO (10) finished fourth last start, beaten 10 metres at Coolamon over 1 ?m. No harm in drawing here with the sprint lane to rely upon. This is a nice drop in class so he is set to play a significant role. SKITTLE BOMB (5) turned in a much better run last time out when runner-up over 1 ¹/16m at Bathurst, beaten a nose after travelling in the leading division then finding the lead only to be bloused late. Leading hope in a similar race. KIA ORA BEAUTY (3) didn't do a bad job when sixth over 1 ¹/16m at Melton last time out. This is an easier assignment. SWEET COCO (7) ended last prep with a tenth at Menangle over 1m seven months ago. Can open this campaign with a much more positive effort.
