FREMARKS PEGGY (1) has relished getting back to mobile starts at her last two outings, winning two back before coming from this barrier and racing parked last time at Bendigo but sticking on well for second and just a neck from the winner. Big chance. MAORI TATTOO (10) made a nice return at his latest appearance two weeks ago, finishing 3 metres away in third at Kilmore. May need an ounce of luck from this tricky draw but should be improved. AT THE DISTANCE (11) was runner-up last start at Cranbourne so is high on the list of contenders despite a tough draw. BLACK AND GOLD (7) must be respected after racing parked but toughing out a last-start win by 1.4 metres at Bendigo.
