SUZYS DREAM (7) could only manage to finish sixth at her latest appearance over 1 5/16m at Kilmore, failing to live up to market expectations as the $1.45 favourite. Meets a comparable field and she can turn in a much better performance. CHARLIE WALKER (10) resumes from a spell of three-and-a-half months after closing off last campaign in good form, the last run being a solid third over 1 ¹/16m at Ballarat. No favours expected from this draw but is likely to run a big race to kick off this campaign. KYVALLEY MISTY (11) is better than her last-start run would suggest when finishing last of nine as the favourite over 1 5/16m at Bendigo after having raced outside the leader at the turn. BETSY ANNE (8) disappointed last time when after racing outside the leader at the bell finished last of six over 1 m at Shepparton. Can do a lot better so is well worth considering.
