TIGER EUPHEME (1) turned in a strong performance last time when she battled on bravely to just miss out over 1 ¹/16m at Penrith. Has the benefit of a good draw. Meets a comparable field and she is a strong winning hope. MAJOR EASTWOOD (9) was responsible for a far better performance last start, finishing second over 1 ?m at Riverina Paceway. Will enjoy a pretty soft run from this draw, with the sprint lane to play a big role. Finds a suitable assignment and will be a major force once more. ULTIMATE EQUUS (8) was out of the money two runs ago then broke and finished eighth last start over 1 ¹/16m at Bathurst, coming home 23 metres from the winner. Must overcome a very wide draw. Finds a nice race and can make up for that last start mishap. MACHX THE STRANGER (7) must be respected after scoring last start by a head at Riverina Paceway over 1 ?m.
