Recorded a series of top-three finishes prior including a Newcastle win the last time he started from this barrier so he could be hard to catch. HEZA DOOZIE (4) found winning form in style last week, leading to score by more than at this circuit and distance. Draws one spot wider but should be able to push forward again. Big chance. ARNIES ARMY (7) should enjoy a nice trail on the inside of the second line and is going well with a series of top-three finishes at this venue including a win after racing wide two back. ASHLEYS BLUE CHIP (8) hasn't been too far away from this row of late. Can be competitive with even luck.
