BRANSON (7) finished second two starts back at Gawler then could not have been more impressive last start when he led to win by 17 metres at this circuit and distance. Interesting to see what unfolds from this wide draw but he has the speed to go forward so can salute once again. LOCHINVAR RULER (2) hasn't had a lot of luck from some tough barriers of late. Came from this draw when a close second at Gawler last month so expect a better result. WELL WELL (8) has to come into calculations on the back of some strong recent form, most recently when fourth at Kapunda. BRUZER (1) came from wider for second last start and gets the ace draw.
