ROCKNROLL COWBOY (4) recorded another strong performance last time when he battled on bravely to finish third over 1 5/16m at Maryborough, adding to a good third on debut at Bendigo the run prior. This is a nice drop in grade so he is in the right race to open the account. WHIRILY MAURZ (9) has been competitive of late and kept the ball rolling last time when 6 metres from the winner in fourth over 1 ¼m at Cranbourne. Can travel in a nice spot from this draw and wait on the sprint lane if necessary. Meets a comparable field and she can take care of this line-up. TACTICALLY PERFECT (13) is a two-year-old filly by Sweet Lou from Timeless Perfection on debut. Not drawn the best so may need a 10/10 drive. Looks to have some ability based on a recent trial win. Sure to prove very hard to beat. IM THE REASON (12) is also in contention although the draw does make his job a bit tougher.
