APEX (5) continues to race well with a string of top-three finishes to his name including an easy win the last time he raced at this circuit last month. Big chance to deliver again. MIELICKI (8) did a good job to come from the back row and post a 2.7m win at Maryborough last week. Starts from a handicap but is going well enough to overcome that and score again. SURPRISE TO ME (3) is suited back to a standing start having scored under these conditions two back at Stawell. NIGHT WHISPERER (7) should find this easier than the last attempt and had recorded back-to-back placings prior.
