ECHANNAY (7) joined the Mark Brooks stable from the Walker/Bergerson team earlier in the year, and a quieter stable can suit some horses better than the busy ones. Her trial form has improved since the switch, and she will be ready to run a big race on debut, especially if the money comes for her. REQUISITE (1) had an excuse at Tauranga just over a month ago when racing greenly down the final straight. He drops 4lbs, and if his head is in the right space, then he could take this out. MANORBIER (2) has battled from a couple of tough barriers recently, and with some better luck in the running, he is good enough to figure in the top 4. PERFORMER (3) won his only public trial, and he makes is debut from the coveted pole position, so don't risk him.
